This hawk was wonderful he was so bold looking and friendly, in fact all Hawks(and all other birds of prey) are wounderful and amazing birds. This hawk truly has the power of long vision . 

This watercolor was based on an actual picture I took of a hawk that flew into my grandma’s yard and just stood there staring at me. I got a good snapshot and decided to capture it in watercolor. Now I hardly Ever use watercolor but I have been meaning to, so it didn’t turn out as “graceful” as I wanted, so I improvised and it turned out pretty goodtick . a good resemblance of the original and good detail to his/her observant eye 👁 .
