Popeye in digital color

This is my sweet guinea pig popeye...in digital likeness.This was a project I was asked to do in highschool: to get a real picture of something and draw a new picture over to make it like a realistic cartoon. I choose my sweet guinea pig popeye to draw over and made him bright and colorful surounded by rainbows. It turned out simple but cute and eventhough its one of my oldest digital drawings I've managed to save, up until this time I think it's still simply cute in its own way. Popeye died around 2015-2016 by what looked like a heart attack, I miss my last pig; i'll allways love you popeye my sweet pig.
