Science:

What is it?

And why is it the key to the truth?

(Finding the truth)

“Science”

Astronauts in space discovering the universe to bubbling chemicals beakers come to mind when the world is mentioned. Science has many different meanings to different people. But really what is science all about? What is it at its core?

Science is really just a logical way to find the truth of reality through observation and testing. If something observed/tested is true then it is added to our knowledge as the truth.[1]

Basically, it is a way to find the truth, through observation/measuring, we come to a solid firm conclusion about a truth of reality and add that new conclusion to our knowledge (your knowledge and the world’s).

So, science is a way to find the truth, so how exactly do we use science to do that?

So, we know science is a way to prove if something is true or not. But how does science do that? Through an organized logical process called

The Scientific method
